Infocus marine started in Olympic Peninsula 2008 as seasonal mobile boat repair service at the end of the first season we got the opportunity to be a fiberglass/Paint contractor On the swift 141 meter project in Abu Dhabi since 2008 we have opened seasonal in Cordova Alaska, Guntersville Alabama, Swansboro North Carolina and contracted work in Cape Town South Africa. We are happy to say this year we are open all year round in the Bremerton WA area. We service boats from Olympic peninsula to king county.
James Lawler is the Owner of Infocus Marine. James entered the marine industry in 2001, working for a marine hardware store and aboard a number of commercial fishing vessels in Alaska. After serving in the United States Coast Guard James went into new mega yacht construction as a finish fiberglass/ yacht painter then transitioned into full-service boat yard work. In 2008 he formed Infocus Marine, which has operated in four states (Alaska, Washington, Alabama and North Carolina) and has contracted internationally (United Arab Emirates and South Africa). In 2011 James attended the Marine Mechanics Institute (MMI) so he could expand Infocus Marine to include marine mechanical and system services. After graduating James went back in to new construction as mechanic / Marine technician for a custom aluminum catamaran company where he was able to build upon his skills and understanding of marine mechanical and electronic installation. with the experience over the years James has been apart of marine repair projects in the commercial, government and yacht industry.
